PageScribble does not collect your data. There are no accounts, no analytics, no advertising, no tracking, and no third-party SDKs. The app has no servers: it never sends anything you write, draw, or browse off your device.

This policy covers the PageScribble app for iOS, iPadOS, and macOS and its Safari extension. PageScribble is an independent app published by jsp.im.
PageScribble itself collects nothing: it has no backend, transmits no data, and receives no data about you. The only data that ever reaches us is an email you choose to send to support, described below.
Everything below stays in PageScribble’s local Safari extension storage and in its app container. None of it is transmitted, backed up to our systems, or readable by us.

The Safari extension requests access to all websites. It needs that access for one reason: to place its drawing canvas and toolbar on top of the page you are viewing.
PageScribble does not read, log, index, or transmit page content, form input, credentials, or your browsing history. The page addresses described above are stored only for pages you actually annotate, and only on your device.
The screenshot and color-picker tools ask Safari for an image of the visible tab. That image is processed entirely on your device, either composed with your annotations or sampled for a single color, and is never uploaded.
Depending on the After Capture setting, a screenshot is either copied to the clipboard or handed to Safari’s normal download flow, where it goes wherever you choose to save it. PageScribble keeps no copy.
Your data is protected by the sandboxing and encryption built into iOS, iPadOS, and macOS, and by Safari’s isolation of extension storage. No method of storage is completely secure, but nothing leaves your device to be intercepted.
To delete your data:
Apple is the only third party involved, and only in its normal role as distributor: App Store downloads, updates, and ratings are handled by Apple under Apple’s Privacy Policy. We receive no personal information from Apple beyond aggregate, anonymous sales and crash statistics.
Send Feedback in the app opens an email to support in your mail app. When your mail app can attach files, the email includes a text report to help us reproduce a problem: the app version, your operating system version and device model (for example, iPad14,1), whether the extension is enabled, and your PageScribble settings. It contains no annotations, page addresses, or browsing data. If your mail app can’t attach files, the email includes only the app version, operating system version, and device model.
You see the email before sending it, and you can remove the report or not send it at all. We receive your message, your email address, and whatever you choose to include, and use them only to answer you. You can ask us to delete your emails at any time.
PageScribble is not directed at children and collects no personal information from anyone, including children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country).
Privacy laws such as the GDPR and the CCPA give you rights to access, correct, export, or delete personal data a company holds about you. We hold none, apart from support emails you choose to send, which we delete on request. Your annotations and settings are on your device and under your sole control, and you can delete them at any time using the steps above. We do not sell or share personal information.
If this policy changes, the revised version will be posted at this address with a new effective date. Material changes will also be noted in the app’s release notes.
